Finding us:

Moore Museum is located in Mooretown, just 25 minutes south of Sarnia, Ontario. From Sarnia, take Hwy. 40 south to Moore Line. Turn right onto Moore Line and travel 5 km (3 miles) into Mooretown.

From the south (including the Sombra/Marine City ferry crossing from Michigan), follow the St. Clair Parkway north to Mooretown. Turn right on Moore Line. Follow Moore Line for two blocks to the Museum.

Admission:

$5.00 adult
$4.00 senior
$3.00 high school student
$2.00 child (preschoolers free)
$15.00 family (2 adults and their school aged children)

We accept cash, cheques, MasterCard and Visa.  Sorry, we do not accept Interac. 

(The charge for dishonoured  payments is $25.00)

Closed Easter Weekend, Victoria Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, and Remembrance Day.

Helpful Information

  • All of our buildings, except the caboose, have ramp access. A wheelchair is available for use free of charge (subject to availability).
  • Service animals are welcome.
  • Pets are welcome on the grounds but are not permitted in the buildings. Please be considerate of other visitors by keeping pets on a leash and cleaning up after them.
  • We encourage you to wear comfortable walking shoes so that you may explore the entire site.  Most visitors require a minimum of one to 1.5 hours to enjoy all the exhibits.
  • A baby change station is available in the family washroom.
  • Visitors are welcome to take photos, but only for non-commercial use.
